Title: Robert Bell Alnwick 1774-1847
Post by: CJBell on Wednesday 05 November 08 20:37 GMT (UK)
Can anybody help me trace the parents of Robert Bell (1774-1847) who lived in Alnwick & raised a family of 11 children with his wife Jane Foreman (c1778-1866)?

According to the 1841 census the family lived on Dispensary Street in Alnwick.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Chris

Sorry I forgot to say that he was born in Scotland - I believe it was Bathgate, West Lothian. Don't know the exact date, but most records point to c1774. However, the 1841 census has him listed as being 65.

Thanks for replying.
