Title: St Mary's Newington Surrey Parish Reg - Harding
Post by: TACollins on Monday 03 November 08 04:40 GMT (UK)
Hi everybody,
I have a IGI entry for

Job Harding married Ann Spencer
11 Aug 1826
Newington, St Mary, Surrey, England
Batch number: M055631

I was wondering if some kind person could look up the actual parish records for me and see if there where parnets names or any other info that would be helpful.  ;D I am trying to find who their parnets where and where they came from.
It would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Tracy :D

Parents names are not routinely recorded in marriage entries at that date.  It is only with the introduction of Civil Registration on 1 July 1837 that the fathers' names are included.

Thanks Nell,
Do they have any other info in them, like what parish they came from.

Cheers

what parish they came from

It may do for the bride and groom, but it is only an indication of where they lived at that time, not where they might have been born.
