hi all i have made a website on all canalboatmen in my husbands family tree take a look it isn't finished yet

iv`e just had a look at your site it is very interesting
the  photos are great . i`m researching varleys mainly from skipton some in leeds who were boat people i was hoping you had them on your site

I see you have Brooks' on your website (I already have this information).  Would be interested to know where you got the information from?

Have you seen Gerald Cresswell's website for canal boatmen?  It is very interesting and has quite a few boatmen names listed as well.

hi amymoo all the information on my website is from ancestry  or other geneaology website it is the hard work of numerous family members,

Thanks for that.  I have quite a few Brooks' and now go quite a way back - not all boatmen though.

Hi Margeret  I have a Varley in my family tree  Jimima Varley  married John Gentle do you have any info on this, also there are several Varley graves in Astley Bridge Bolton lancs regards (*)
