Title: can anyone make this photo clearer please

Is this a boy or girl? it says Harry Brome(my stepgrandfather) on the back but I am not sure if it is him or not, he was born in 1886 in Hackney. How old would you say the child is?  ???

Hi Margaret, Sylvia's picture pointed out much more detail that I missed first time round, (Hair Etc.) so hope this one is better.
