Youde is an unusual s/n and I wondered whether this one is connected at all

From www.lan-opc.org.uk

Marriage: 10 Dec 1832 St Peter, Liverpool
Thomas Youd - Carter of This Parish
Mary Neild - (X), Spinster of This Parish
Witness: Ann Savage, (X); Francis Ostley
Married by Banns by: Cecil Wray, Curate

X indicates they made their mark as they were unable to sign their name

Hi Carole, thank you for taking the time to do this look up for me, they may be connected, but not sure at present. Looks like I shall have to find another way to find Thomas's father's name, although I am at a loss at how, best wishes, Jean

Hi Jean

Don't know if this is any help but the IGI has a christening for Thomas Youds in St Peter, Liverpool on 12 May 1805 (birth 16 Februrary 1805). Father is Henry Youds, mother Mary Potter.
