Title: Little Gran: Can you date and clean this picture please?
Post by: FamilyBDTC on Sunday 19 October 08 18:08 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,

I have been given this lovely photo of my great grandmother, known as 'Little Granny' in the family. Could anyone suggest a date for the picture? And also if anyone can have a go at a little clean up and even adding colour I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Mel

Here's my try. I'm not good with gardens like Bill so I just gave it a little blur.

Well, for a date...looking at the hemline, according to Old Rowley the hemline was midi length in 1914, so maybe just before the war...

Cheers,

Thanks for the dating, if its around that time it would have been just after my grandad was born in 1914.

A big thanks to everyone who has helped me this time.
