Does any one know how I can find out who was living at
8 Shortloanings, Aberdeen in December of 1917?
Thank you,
Molly

Try Aberdeen City Archives for Valuation Rolls, or Aberdeen Central Library may have City Directories for that year.

Jane Nicol had a daughter Pearl Nicol born 26 December 1917 at 8 Shortloanings, Aberdeen. Jane was a papermill worker. Daughter Pearl was adopted by Hector Campbell McCracken and Ann Napier Tennyson McCracken of Paisley in January 1918. On back of certificate is written St. Nicolas House Upper Church Gate Aberdeen. This is all the info we have on Nicol so if anyone can help with her or where to check, also any info on St Nicolas House. Thank you
Doesnt seem to have any link to reply or a name connected to it though.
Any use??
Regards

Hi,
The post on the travel info online must be from my cousin. We are both working on this project. I will write to find the Aberdeen City Archives.
Thanks for the help,
Molly
