Title: Clifts in Camberwell - COMPLETED

Does anyone know anything more about the family of James Clift, Coachman, Camberwell (my 3 x g grandfather), bap Springfield, Essex 8/4/1787 died Camberwell 22/1/1867.  He married twice !) Hannah buried Camberwell 4/7/1828 & 2) Mary d. 1852.  I know neither wives surnames or dates of marriage.
I descend from his 4th dau. Amelia.
Looking for info on his other children Mary bap 1814 marr 1832 Thomas Holman; Hannah b. 1814 marr. 1834 John Selby, Carpenter (they had at least 1 son John b. 29/10/1835); Sarah bap 1818; Lucy bap 1827. All by 1st wife.
Also info on James b. 1830; Clara b. 1832; William b. 1833, all by 2nd wife.

James Garrett Clift was named after his aunt Clara Clift's husband James Garrett:

Yes thats the same info as I had found...Ive had a look on the IGI to see if I could see James Snr marriages to Hannah and Mary but I couldnt see anything that fits

Yes I would be delighted to find out more about your husband's Selby line. I have corresponded quite a bit with Karen Richardson in Australia, and have found out loads about James Clift & Hannah Justice's family since I first posted this in 2008.

Please send me a private message and I can exchange my family trees etc with you. I've found out that James & Hannah's daughters were Mary Holman, Hannah Selby, Susan Webb, Sarah Newcomb, Amelia Ellery (my 2 x gt gdmother) and Lucy Stanesby. Also James Clift, Clara Garrett & William who died young from his 2nd marr. to Mary (don't know her surname).  I have info on all their descendants.
Amelia's son Isaac James (my gt gdfather) moved up to Stirling in Scotland, and I live in Edinburgh.
