Hi There,
This is the link to B.D.M in Queensland :

Hi Crazy Robert
Thankyou for the link.
This site you cannot order online with credit card.
A form needs to be filled out and posted to them.

There are no Transciption agents in Qld or any on line ordering facilities. You have to print the form down and send it a way and wait for many weeks at the moment
kind thoughts Jenn
ps can we help at all the indexs should say parents names

Thanks tropicalj
I was hoping there may of been another website where you can order online.
Will have to purchase certificate the "old way" and wait weeks for the arrival.

I just found this website where you can order QLD BMD online.
http://www.garrisonau.com/category16_1.htm
The problem is they cost $35.00 ???
Cheers

Excellent work there Karen
if you get them from Qld's BDM they cost 27.00 so that isn't too bad at all.
I wonder if they are quicker too. Perhaps an email might answer that.
I would suggest you might like to add that link in to Qld Resources for all to see.

Will add to QLD Resources.
They charge $26 Government set fee + $9 retrieval fee
Kabana
**** Forgot to ask if anyone has ordered a BDM from Garrisons before.
-
Just for info - current fees on Qld BDM as at 1 Sep 2008
http://www.justice.qld.gov.au/files/BirthsDeathsAndMarriages/fees.pdf
Now will this company search [if required] and supply for $35 ..if they do then it would be cheaper than the Qld bdm would charge...$45 [$27 + $18] Qld also list postal charges.
Cheers

But in truth, cando, most of us can look up the indexes online ourselves - therefore it will cost us $27 (and a long wait!)
I wish there were transcription agents in Queensland! :(
