Title: Dublin Norgroves Annie & Emily 1916
Post by: eleanore on Monday 13 October 08 15:42 BST (UK)
Thanks to a contributer I have found a link to Irish Norgroves. Annie & Emily appear in the list of people in the Easter Uprising who were at City Hall, members of Irish Citizen Army. Any information regarding their involvement is appreciated. My Grandmother Caroline Selina Ganley MP CBE JP.(mother Selina Norgrove) was active as a Suffragette, Womens Rights etc and President of the Co-operative in UK. It would appear these two ladies shared genes with her, fighting for equality and womens rights and I am keen to learn more about them. Can anyone help please?

Strangely enough The Irish Times on November 21st 1895 reported that a Patrick Hoare(?) of No.15 Strandville Avenue was charged with seducing a soldier from his allegiance.
