Hi, trying to find info on the rush family in lincoln(normanby, owmby).
Any info welcome.

Now that your post is under Lincolnshire it would probably help to give an idea of names/dates, what information you've already found/searched and what sort of details you are missing or would like to find.

sorry, i dont have any info as yet, i was brought up in yorkshire after my father's and mother's divorce, and the rush family was never mentioned,
 my fathers name was micheal barry rush and that is all I know of the rush side of the family. mabey links to ireland.

Very recent records can be difficult to find (especially online) but details of living people should be mentioned on Rootschat. As with all resaerch you need to start with the facts you do know and search back through the records step by step. For example, your father's birth certificate would list the names of both parents, then their marriage certificate will list their fathers' names and might give you an idea of their ages and where they lived. The latest available census for England is 1901 so if your grandparents were born before that date they should be listed on it (hopefully with their families), etc.
