Found, almost by accident, the farm my gg-grandfather worked on in the 1870s...

How exciting!!   Tremendous!   I would be 'over the moon' and posting it as well.   I expect you were too.   Make sure you can get a copy of it, that's wonderful.

OH will be very interested in that.... just loves taking pictures and showing them to anyone who will look at them!!  Bit like me with the family history ;D

What a wonderful site - I've just found a whole page of photos of the village where my Scottish ancestors lived, including one of the church and churchyard where they are buried  :D  :D.
