Title: St George-RC Church, Worcester
Post by: Paulann on Tuesday 07 October 08 10:41 BST (UK)
hi

Can someone help me please?  I have traced an ancestor back to his christening at St George RC Chuch, Sansome Place, Worcester.

I know nothing about this area. Can anyone suggest what area of Worcester this Church comes under, is it Barbourne?

Thank you,
Pauline

Hi
I'm not sure if I will be much help to you. The church is not in Barbourne, but is situated near lowesmoor which I think came under the parish of St Martin.

Right in the centre of town, although not that far from Barbourne, which is the A38 going out northwards from the city.
