Friday i got a call from Canberra to say that they were re examining his records and that he was entitled to another medal

he served in 2/6 battalion AIF in New Guinea
received a letter in the mail this morning confirming the phone call and that paper work will be arriving soon to claim medal (NOK) my uncle will be chuffed to receive his fathers medal.
