Hi, Help please.
I am trying to find a William or James Barkliewho died between 1888-1915 . He was married to Mary Jane Field who was born in 1864. She died in Australia in 1952 but William or James did not emigrate with her. She left ireland in 1910 so maybe he died before then Their daughter Agnes was married in the Ballynure Presbyterian Churc by Rev. J Mitchell to a Fulton Jackson of Larne. I have most of the Jackson history...... butchers of Larne I think the family still is

Hello snooza,
Welcome to RootsChat.
There are four Barklie headstones at St Cedma's Larne and Inver Old Graveyard. They're mentioned in George Rutherford's compilation of Old Families of Larne and District edited
by R. S. J. Clarke.
They are for the family of Thomas Barklie who was one of the owners of John & Archibald Barklie & Co., bleachers, dyers and finishers.

Snooza- have family tree of Barklies of Inver that Christopher has mentioned in above post but can't see any William or James that could have been married to Mary Jane Field.
If you go to www.proni.gov.uk and search Will Extracts (just put 'Barklie' into surname box) lots of possiblities are there for you to check.

Sooza,
The 1880 directory on the Lennon Wylie site shows Thomas Barklie, Inver.
