Hi,

There is a new war memorial at Islington Green, replacing a previous one which was there for a long time.  It is a modern design in granite based on the wreath shape.  Islington Green hosts a Remembrance Day ceremony every year.

I'm not sure where you're coming from, but the nearest Tube is Angel and the area is also served by buses 4, 19, 38, 56, 73, 341, 476 and probably others that I haven't thought of.

Anna :)
