How lucky am I?
Well, I have been researching my family tree for more years than I care to imagine but have never been able to put faces to names as there seem to be a big lack of photos of my family.
So, I was thrilled a couple of months ago when an aunt of mine sent me some photos she had found of my Dad's ancestors from the early 1900's.
Then I inherited a photo album just a couple of weeks ago with around 30 photos of my Mum's family again from the early 1900's.
And two or three days later a cousin of my Mum sent me some more photos that he had found of my Nan's sister and family from the late 1890's!!!
Genealogy must be like buses - you wait for ages with no news and then suddenly 3 great things happen at once! :D

What grand news!!!! I know from my own family photo discovery recently what putting faces to names means.
I love old photos, so any chance of posting one or two to let us see? (nosey, aren't I).
All the Best

I love it when that happens!
I've just made contact with a possible living relative, and am just waiting to hear back from them.
Just hoping they can provide me with some more lovely photos!!
