From FreeBMD District info ...

Quote
The district Tiverton &c. is an alternative name for Tiverton and it spans the boundaries of the counties of Devon and Somerset; information about it can be found here - http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/tiverton.html

(I assume Mary is the missing female on that page 445 ? )

Hi Debra and Newf

I also looked at the 1843 marriage ...there is no Mary on the page  :-\...although there is a Mary Giles or a mary Ann Fare on the same page as this one;
John Thomas Clark dec  1841 Tiverton
