Title: Need help please

I have been able to trace my great-grandmother to Killkenney,  her name was either Helen or Ellen Wallace (depending on whch census your looking at!)
she was born around 1847, she eventually came to Hartlepool, England and was married
Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,

Do you mean Kilkenny the county or the town? Do you have a religion for her? For this early date, you would have to go to parish records.

This site shows heads of household named Wallace who lived in Kilkenny during the period 1849-50 when Griffiths Valuation was conducted in the county. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php
