Title: Destroyed wedding photo. Please help!
Post by: Vasquez109 on Wednesday 01 October 08 00:24 BST (UK)
Is anyone able to try and adjust this photo? Its faded badly in the sun and not sure if it is fixable or not.

I hope it is! Its of my wifes parents getting married in London.

Hi there

A quick B/W one but this really needs to be rescanned at a higher resolution. This is only 72 and needs to be at least 300 dpi to get a better result and decent print from.

Hi Vasquez  :)

I've done some adjustments and this is about as good as I can get the colour balance.  Hope it will do.

Cheers

No improvement - higher resolution scan could help

best i can do, but these images always need a higher resolution scan when you are trying to save colour. I'm finding the red channel becomes to pixelated and removing them removes to much detail.

One from me ... but I coloured it manually as opposed to retrieving the original colour ....
