Title: Carham Hall, Cornhill-on-Tweed
Post by: gallipolianzac on Tuesday 30 September 08 15:16 BST (UK)
Anyone got anything on this place - now a nursing home? It was possibly the residence of the St. George family sometime after WW1. Any experts out there with exaustive knowledge of the place or the family?

Bulmers 1888 directory says it'' is a neat stone mansion, delightfully situated on the bank of the river a short distance from the church. It is the seat and residence of Mesdames Hodgson-Hinde and Hodgson -Huntley.''
