Hi, Any chance of a splash of colour and repair for Great Aunt Annie please - photo taken in 1930's.
Thanks and kind regards,
Aussie Lass

Definitely a chance...but can you give us ideas about eye and hair colour, and skin tone? ;) :D

Hi Aussie Lass ............Heres a colour version of your Great Aunt.
Carolyn :)
-
Carolyn, beautiful job, thank you the colouring is lovely and as usual you have worked your wonders. xx :) :)
Prue, sorry, a bit dumb on my part, ::) ::) in answer to your question, Great Aunty Annie had sparkling blue eyes, slightly olive complexion, nice healthy pink cheeks and brown hair.
Hope that helps !

David, thanks, it is a very nice portrait and a beautiful restoration from you. I am always amazed at the absolute clarity and attention to detail that I see in all of your restorations on RC. :) ;D
Yvonne, thanks for your lovely version, the sepia effect is beautiful :) ;D
Skippy, two beautiful versions from you, and lovely soft tonings in the colour version, thanks :) ;D
Hippy, as always, a fabulous version from you, the colour is beautiful, thanks ! I always love your work whether it is early, late or otherwise, it is well worth waiting for :) ;D
My Great Aunty Annie was a kind and gentle person who sadly died in 1982 from Motor Neurone disease. I'm sure she would have been impressed by these lovely restorations, which I will now be able to share with the rest of the family. Thanks to all :) ;D :-*

one from me too... ;)

Hi Aussie Lass...What a lovely response...and such a refreshing change from "Thanks All"
She was a beautiful lady and everyone has done her justice...it was such a pleasure to do 8) she looks like she could be in an advertisement for Pepsodent toothpaste ;D ;D ;D..Whoops!...showing my age now.
Poll may not still have the teddy..but..she still has that lovely winning smile 8)
Carol ;)

Hippy, as always, a fabulous version from you, the colour is beautiful, thanks ! I always love your work whether it is early, late or otherwise, it is well worth waiting for :) ;D
Aussie
You certainly know how to say all the right things ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheque in the post ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Hippy :) :) :) :)

Aw Carol ....The smile is caused by the bulldog clip being a wee bit tight on the back of the neck whilst doing a DIY facelift jobby !! ;D ;D ;D I know what you mean though about AG's individual responses to everyones work .. such a lovely reward ... I t only takes a few minutes to say to each person who may have spent hours on one pic a thankyou that shows you have actually noticed the differing styles etc of the restores rather than the blanket " thanks everyone" after a dozen or so efforts have been posted ... that just occasionally happens. ! For the most part people really appreciate the effort put into restoring a photograph once they know that it isn't just a case of pressing a few buttons ...lol ;)
Poll :)

How lucky am I, sometimes I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown on this web site...... time is precious and I am very appreciative of the fact that the wonderful restorers give up their precious time to restore the photo's that I post here. The only problem I have is that I somtimes feel guilty about posting too many photo's. I certainly don't want to appear to be greedy. :-[ :-[ ;D xx
Lil Stump, thanks for your "late try", it's never too late and I do like it, your restore is lovely :)
Karen, beautiful colour, thanks jointly to you and Yvonne, a great team effort :)
Chris, another lovely restore for my wonderful collection, thanks :)
