Title: McDonnell Range, Garryowen, Ireland
Post by: caschrom on Thursday 25 September 08 15:54 BST (UK)
I have found in the attic a postcard sent to my great grandmother's sister, Mary Hogan.  It was addressed to McDonnell Range, Garryowen, Limerick in care of James Clohessy.  I have searched and searched but cannot seem to find out where this address is located.  I'm wondering if any of my relatives may still live there.  Any help will be appreciated.

There's a section of Limerick called Garryowen. Google 'garryowen limerick' for details.

Thank you for replying.  I did a google search awhile back and came up empty handed.  Someone did tell me McDonnell Range might have been a row of houses back in the 1920's and not a street name.
