I'm totally confused here.
Is it Martha J. Lloyd?
is the date 12 Feb. (not 2 Dec.?) 1888 date of her birth?
Martha is the daughter of Henry Wilson and Sarah Fulton?
Was she married twice- to a Wilbur and to a Fred?
'wedding date 20 June 1925? to Wilbur?- or to Fred?
Martha died 6 Sept.1965?
Fred R. Lloyd born 1873? in Illinois?
Where did the above information come from?- that may give clue as to where Mayview Cemetery is located. Also including the details from 1930 census (names ages, birthplaces, occupations) might help locate Martha in earlier records.

Thanks Shelly. Still hoping Squire can clarify the first post here.

Hi Squire
Ok well lets look at the data....first off you gave us Martha's particulars
LLOYD, MARTHA J.
Date of Birth 2/12/1888
Place of Birth SIDNEY,IL
Father WILSON,HENRY
Mother FULTON,SARAH
Spouse WILBUR+FRED
Wedding Date 6/20/1925
Date of Death 9/6/1965
Cemetery MAYVIEW,IL
and so a search for Fred gives us this:
LLOYD, FREDERICK R.
ate of Birth 4/7/1873
Place of Birth CATLIN,IL.
Father LLOYD,HENRY
Mother CHURCH,SARAH
Spouse MARTHA
Wedding Date
Date of Death 10/30/1965
Cemetery OAK RIDGE
Soooo...since Fred died after Sarah did by one month...we can be sure that he was her last husband....and quite likely she was his last wife. Not sure if he had been married earlier but it looks like Martha had been. So then a look at teh 1930 census and sure enough Raymond age 16 is a step son to Fred. So that means that Martha was married by 1914 probably. Knowing her birth year and where her parents were born from the 1930 census is the best clue you have. Go back to 1900 and find her with her parents who we know from the MI info were named Henry and Sarah. They are easily found living in Raymond, Champaign, IL and Martha is age 12. So then search in 1910 for first name Martha b. Illinois in 1888 with a spouse named Wilbur. Bingo....
Name: Martha Duncan
b. ab. 1888
Birthplace: Illinois
Father born Ohio
Mother born Tennessee
Living in......Raymond, Champaign, Illinois
Household Members:
Wilbur J Duncan age 27 head
Martha Duncan age 22 wife
and then looking in 1920 is a snap...she's back at home and a widow...
Martha Duncan
[Martha Wilson]
living in Saint Joseph, Champaign, Illinois
Father born Ohio
Mother born Tennessee
members of the household
Sarah Wilson age 52
Martha Duncan age 30 dau widow
Edith Wilson age 29
Ruby Wilson age 26
Elsie Wilson age 23
Russell Wilson age 18
Ronald Duncan age 6
Best wishes

Squire has already started a thread looking for Martha
just the other day a few minutes after this one to which there are some replies but no answers to questions Squire was asked to clarify the request. Having the same in 2 places means that answers are duplicated and it causes needless work and confusion.

For some reason Squire has started another post about Martha here a few minutes before this one:

Agreed that duplicate posting always leads to confusion. While others started work on the other thread..... I never saw it until just now!! Hopefully not too many hours have been spent needlessly for all concerned!
A possible SSDI death for son Raymond.....
Name: RAYMOND DUNCAN
Birth: 06 Jun 1914
Death: 21 Jun 1991 (V)
Last Residence: 32935 (Melbourne, Brevard, FL)
SS#: 347-07-1956
State issued: Illinois
Perhaps a request for an obit from Brevard county Florida could confirm or deny this.
Best wishes

According to the Florida Death Index, the race of Raymond Duncan who died 21 Jun 1991 was black. Not sure if that jibes with the rest of the information.
-
Good grief!! ;DObviously I've not had my tea yet :'(
His name is not Raymond.....the town in Illinois is Raymond. DUH!
His name is Ronald.......
no the SSDI record is not him!!
Best wishes

I found Ronald Duncan of Raymond Township, Illinois, age 38 and single, on a passenger list of (I presume) a cruise ship from April 1952.
