I wonder if anyone out there using Ancestry.co.uk who could help me. If, having decided a 'hint' may not be relevant to a particular person and choosing the 'ignore' option, how do I re-access that hint at a later date? I really can't work out how to do it and I can't see an answer in the help section. I'm sure I'm missing something blindingly obvious! I would be grateful for any help.

Hi
I am not sure but it seems to me that ....
If you have ignored some hints for a particular person but there are still some that have not been ignored then you can still access the ignored ones for that person from the Ancestry Hints page (for the particular person) from the green bar that runs across the page.
However, if you have ignored all of the hints to date for a particular person, then you cannot access them again until a new hint perhaps comes along in the future from which you will be able to get to the Ancestry Hints page and the green bar.
I hope that makes some sort of sense

DS, that confirms what I thought - thank you very much for replying.

I think there is one way of doing it - delete the person, and then re-instate them. Of course, if you have descendents of that person entered, they will be orphaned, so it's not really a great technique unless there's no descendents entered. The editing facilities on Ancestry are woefully lacking.

Thanks for the tip.
