Have you searched NSW BDM's?
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/search.htm
I found the 1859 marriage to Rose Maco (not Macon). There were 6 children born of parents William and Rose/Rose A. Tout between 1859 and 1869 at various towns. Rose Tout died 1913 in Granville (Sydney), so if you applied for her death certificate, that would help as to whether it was the same Rose, as it would list her husand, children, marriage etc....................... That may help with your search.
There were of 3 deaths for William Tout, between 1861 and 1893 but which one could it be, if at all? That's why I suggest get Rose's Death Cert. If you already have it, I don't know...........................

Unless someone else was fathering the children, I would probably pass on the 1861 :) - so parents may be Thomas and Catherine or William and Clara. Marriage certificate gives mother as Elizabeth ??? - I wonder if it is possible that he left them & went back to UK?
The NSW transcript agents, for a lesser fee will check one item - so the two deaths could be fairly cheaply checked to see if either is the right William
I'll check if any of these parents appear on the census in Devon with a William
Trish
James and Eliza (parents of the William who died 1861, were having children in NSW in 1840s). Shame the death was 1861, as the mother's name matches!

Hello Yazzie, I don't know what country you are in.
And it's been 3 years since your post, so I hope you check back.
I'm pretty sure that I have your Rose 'MACO' in my tree.
I have a Rose Meehan born County Cavan, Ireland about 1838.
Her mother: SUSAN McMAHON !!
Father: Patrick MEEHAN
She moved to Liverpool England with her parents (probably about 1840)
most of the kids were born in Liverpool England.
They all immigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1855 (where one other child was born)
They settled in Liverpool! - a western outer suburb of Sydney now.
Then it would've been a different town west of Sydney.
Patrick's father who was living in Sydney paid for their immigration.
Pat's father, Owen Meehan, was a convict to Australia in 1832.
He stole a pig in Ireland and got 7 years. His wife Rose HAND was dead and he
had seven children in Ireland. (Patrick is only one that I'm sure of) recently found 2
probable sisters for Pat.
I haven't been able to find a partner for Rose, now I know why with the weird spelling.
I have found our history in Australia (and England) under Mackin, McKin, Meecham etc etc!
I'm descended from one of Rose's brothers.
When I just check the list of kids I'll post again. from Lyn Meehan, Australia
