Hello - I was wondering whether anyone knows a member called 'beansoup' and could put me in contact?
From this board it seems as though we are researching the same family tree. Firstly she/he might be able to help me, but I am in a branch of the family that still lives in the same place as we did in 1801, so I have a lot of information that might help her too!
If anyone can help that would be great. The family name is Gilson.

Hi luc,
Welcome to rootschat!
I will send beansoup a message and ask them to reply to you on this board.
There is a way you can contact them, but you need to have posted a number of times before you have access to this (I believe it is to stop spam etc).
I hope you find a connection! ;D
PS Dave, you beat me to it .... I'll PM beansoup just in case ;)

Hi lucretia,
Welcome to Rootschat!
I have sent "beansoup" a personal message regarding your posting and that you are wanting to make contact. Until you have made 3 postings (I think) you are not able to use the PM system.
Good luck :D

Hi
I'm here! Just a bit short of time with an 18month old, so not online as much as I used to be!
Gilson family is on the edges of my tree as the link is via my "Heal" family but I've had contact with a no of other people who are researching that line.
Thanks for sending PMs
