Title: Birth help
Post by: nuttyred on Tuesday 09 September 08 12:09 BST (UK)
Could someone please help with finding the birth of Sarah Ann Newman, on the

1871/81/91 census it says she was born 1837 Beal, Yorkshire.

Her husband was Thomas Graham b 1834 Walkeringham, Notts and they lived in

Swinefleet, Yorks.

Many thanks, Lisa

Have you found their marriage or have you got her maiden name from a child's birth cert?

I wonder if she had been married before her marriage to Thomas and that's why I haven't been able to find her in previous years under the name of Newman.

I have been searching for a marriage but haven't had any success but this looks like the birth of their son

 George T registered Goole 9c 572  March 1864,

It may be the best way to find her maiden name.
