Title: Jackson/Rowbottom Lincolnshire
Post by: jacko1 on Monday 08 September 08 03:35 BST (UK)
Hi, just wondering if there's any information out there about William and Hannah Jackson nee(Rowbottom), married in 1802 Lincoln.
My Great great grandfather was Richard William Jackson born around 1812 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.  I think these maybe his parents?

Thanks for any information

The marriage that you mention actually took place in Althorpe.

I would have thought a more likely marriage for your purposes would be the one in Gainsborough 15 Nov 1807, William JACKSON to Ann MARKHAM.

1841 census
Burkitts Yd, Gainsborough
William JACKSON 60 Carpenter
Ann 65
Neither was born in Lincs.

Perhaps she was the Ann JACKSON 79 Hull (Yorkshire) who appears in the 1851 census

Hi,
thankyou for the information,
I'm very new at all this.
I was in the chatroom, and someone did a look up for me and came up with the Hannah Rowbottom and William Jackson.
What would I need to do to find out which one it is?

Thanks again Raina

Well thaks for that.  I just wish I knew where to turn.....

Honestly this guy is driving me crazy... How can I really tell who he is???????
I know I should buy a marriage/ death certificate and I will do,   I just hope it answeres some questions.

Kind Regards
