Title: Griffiths of Craven Arms

I am having a hard time locating any of my Griffiths family from Craven Arms, Shropshire.  I believe the sub-district is Ludlow from other messages on this list, but is there a specific district I should be looking at?

The Griffiths I am trying to locate are John Griffiths, born in and around 1865 in Craven Arms, Shropshire (according to the 1891 UK Census from Weston Mare).  And, from a family bible, I believe his father may have been William Griffiths.  In the bible, it states the following:  "William Griffiths of Craven Arms died April 29th, 1890, aged 61 years."

I am hoping someone out there can help.  Thanks in advance, Dan

This looks like the death registration for William:

William Griffiths    JunQ 1890  Ludlow   6a  345   age shown as 60

Found on FreeBMD

Possible birth for John:

John Griffiths  DecQ 1864   Ludlow  6a   511

Ludlow registration district includes Craven Arms.
