A listing of the contents of the Archives of the Royal Monmouthsire Royal Engineers (Militia) Museum is now on-line at:

http://www.monmouthcastlemuseum-archives.org.uk/

In particular it includes a searchable database of enlistment records. At the moment, the database covers the periods 1786-1817, 1872-1887 and 1914-1916. It includes nearly 7000 names.

There is also a list of nearly 1000 archival sources relating to the Regiment but held at other repositories.

The Regimental Museum in Monmouth Castle also has it's own website at

http://www.monmouthcastlemuseum.org.uk/

which includes a lot of information about the history of the Regiment.
