Title: Birth of David Savill 1852 Union House, Great Dunmow

Could some kind person please look up for me the Birth of David Savill 1852 Union House, Great Dunmow. This is entered on the IGI. But I would like confirmation.

The IGI has the birth as the 12 DEC 1852, Union House, Great Dunmow. Mother Louisa Savill Father Henry Owers. As Louisa seems to have married Henry two years later.

Owers  Henry     Dunmow  4a 437   
Savill  Louisa     Dunmow  4a 437


I would appreciate confirmation that the info on the IGI is correct.

I don't have access to the Parish Registers but there is this birth on Free BMD which ties up with the  information you have.

Dec 1852   SAVILL  David    Dunmow  4a 299

I note that the information on the IGI is submitted, rather than extracted from the parish records, and it should therefore be treated with some caution.

I would recommend buying the birth certificate.

Where can you buy BDM certificates from England? I cannot seem to locate an official place?
