Title: Longdon in 1840?
Post by: garethnash on Saturday 06 September 08 18:52 BST (UK): I think I have found the birth certificate reference for a distant ancestor of mine who was born in Longdon in 1840. The district shown on the BMD page is Upton Upon Severn.

Would someone with a better knowledge of geography / history know if this is right?
