I wonder if anyone can help? I know its a long shot.
Daisy M. Snow was born in bishops stortford in 1918 (June Qtr). Her mother's name was Anne White and her father was Herbert Snow and as far as I know they lived in Henham.
Daisy died in Colchester in 1942 (March Qtr) age 23 years.
I would like to find out where she died and what she died of.
Apparently she was put into a mental hospital, at what age I am not sure. I am trying to find out which one that might have been.
If anyone can help I would be really grateful.
Thank you for your time.
Kind regards

Hello Hoppity
The death cert £7-00 online would be the easiest way forward....displaying where she died and what she died of
If you have received the correct info you would assume the cert would also reveal who registered the death and the institute you are seeking.

Thank you Bryant.
I will order the certificate shortly but I just thought someone might know more about the family.
It seems sad that she died so young.
Kind regards

What I have had a look at is Herbert who was born June qtr 1883...Bishops Stortford
Herbert James Snow married Annie White in the Dec qtr of 1905...Bishops Stortford, and is seen aged 8 living with his parents and siblings in Rotten Row, Henham (where he was born) in 1891
They were a big family
How many children between 1905-1912? (their are 17 Snow's born within the district of Bishops Stortford between 1905 and 1911......how many of these children are Herbert and Annie's ?)
children between Dec qtr 1912 and Dec qtr 1924 = 7 (surname Snow...mother's maiden name White, Bishops Stortford reg dist)
Herbert James Snow doesn't appear to have died within the registration district of Bishops Stortford (includes Henham) or Saffron Walden (includes Henham from 1939).......checked from 1923 to 1983 by which time he would have been 100 years old! .............so where did he die?
I seem to recall a death of a Herbert in Cambridge......if that was he? their was a mental institution at Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire that opened circa 1858 and closed long after Daisy died ............Fulbourn is approx 30 miles from Henham so not to be ruled out even if Herbert didn't die Cambridge.

Hi
You my want to check out our website www.henhamhistory.org. We have transcribed the parish records and have two site pages specifically relating to the Snow family. Also the Census returns are on including pics of the Row.
