Civil registration of Catholic marriages in Ireland began 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages) so depending the the religion there may or may not be a marriage certificate. If not, you will need to search for church records (if they exist).

Kildare marriages from irishroots.ie -
Baker George 1856 Co. Kildare
Baker Mick 1856 Co. Kildare
Baker Michael 1864 Co. Kildare
Baker Michael 1864 Co. Kildare
Cosgrave Anne 1856 Co. Kildare

Hi,
I wonder if you can help me to find any information on the Marriage of Michael Coady to Elizabeth Ryan in Naas possibly around 1917
His father also Michael Coady married an Elizabeth in Naas possibly around 1889(really rough guess).
Thanks for your time x liz

sorry - for privacy reasons the transcript web-sites dont include parish information after about 1900
for the marriage of the earlier Michael there is one possible marriage match in Co Kildare
on www.irish-roots.ie (free to search, €5 to view a transcript)
Coady Michael 1883 Co. Kildare
I'll try to figure out the parish and update this..

there are two hits for that name on 1901 census for Co. Kildare (on the same website), both are in the Nass Rural District Electoral Division:
Census Coady Michael 1901 Co. Kildare
Census Coady Michael 1901 Co. Kildare
Unfortunatly the way this web site works shows only the above basic info until the full record is paid for. With no address or age etc these could both be in the same house.
the site does not include 1911 data. All 1901 and 1911 and will eventually be available on the National Archives site - just Dublin city & county is available at the moment.

Hi, I am also looking for information on a Margaret Cosgrove (born circa 1845) from Co.Kildare. She married William Baker with whom she had several children, the youngest of which was my great grandmother Emily Baker (later Culverwell) who was born in Leicester.
Do you think this is the same person? If so I would be very interested in any information that you may have, particularly regarding William and Margaret.
Thank you

Cosgrove Jewellery Shop was on Main Street Naas last time I looked. Not sure if still there as new shopping precent being built.
Cody's living in Naas since before 1920s.
Naas library has a very comprehensive Heritage centre.
