I am looking for descendants of this couple my GGGGranparents, m Jan 17th 1809 in GlenUrquhart. Apart from their son Alexander none of their children; Alpen b 1809, John b 1812, Christine b 1817, Catherine b 1818, James b 1820and William b 1824 died in Scotland so have they emigrated?
Their son Alexander, b 1814 m Sarah Fleming.
Two of their children died in Scotland: my G Grandmother Janet b 1864. and James b 1867 who married Lizzie Adams but they others :John b 1856, Alexander b 1858, Findlay b 1860, Mathew b 1860 William b 1862 and Elizabeth b 1877 have disappeared emigrated?
James and Lizzie had Alexander b 1890, James b 1892, Mary 1891, Lizzie b 1897, William 1898 and John b 1900 and they have all disappeared too??
Any help at all with these disappearing folk would be great!

I don't specifically know of this family, but I descend from a Glenurquhart McIntosh. There is a yDNA project for Glenurquhart McIntoshs and we find so far 7 of us group into 2 separate McIntosh families. The yDNA test requires a male to be tested. If you have a male McIntosh relative who was willing to participate I would pay for a 37 marker yDNA test with FamilyTreeDNA. If you would like more information contact me with a personal message
