Samuel NELSON born 1866 (abt)
I have Samuels father as James born abt 1872
??
Robert Creighton and Mary Jane Wilson had other children besides Susan according to IGI (see www.familysearch.org for details): Margaret (1864), John (1866), Ellen (1868), David (1870), Wilson (1875).
Some details also listed under Creighton in Surname section on this site. You could also search on the site for Nelsons:

Info I have to date.
Susan Creighton - b. 10 Nov 1872 - Parents - Robert Creighton & Mary Wilson
Married - 31 Mar 1897 to Samuel Nelson (Fedney) b. 25 Feb 1866 - d. 24 Nov 1918
Children - Elizabeth b. 14 Mar 1899
- Robert James b. 3 May 1903
- Mary b. 13 May 1904
- Samuel b. 12 Aug 1906
The 1911 census records 4 children born - 4 children living.
I've found a record that would suggest that there was a fifth.
Mary Jane - b. 8 Feb 1898 (Fedney) to Samuel Nelson and Susan Nelson (Creighton)
d. 6 Mar 1898 (Fedney) - Age 5 weeks - Samuel Nelson - Father present at death
Info. I'm seeking
Death / Emigration / Marriage records for - Elizabeth, Mary and Samuel.
Death / Emigration records for - Susan
I've seen reports that Susan in later years went to Canada, to a son - Presumably Samuel as
Robert James remained on the Fedney farm until his death in the 1970's.
How can I prove this? What is the best way trace people who have emigrated?
All info and suggestions gratefully received

I think you are into the difficult patch so it will be GRONI Belfast see this website or use Belfast forum search for guidance as to how to use usefully as credit searching mounts up
For Emigration or travel see findmypast migration http://search.findmypast.co.uk/results/united-kingdom-records-in-travel-and-migration?firstname=susan&lastname=nelson
This is a credit based for detail, website. The nearest possible but with wrong birth dates is
NELSON SUSAN 1880 —1930 Passenger Lists leaving UK 1890-1960 Quebec, Canada States
Or another possible
Nelson SUSAN 1879 — 1934 Passenger Lists leaving UK 1890-1960 New York, US
in case you get more interested in going backwards, I did notice on Ros Davies Co Down website http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/SURNAMES/N/Nelson.htm
James NELSON b~1708 . Garvaghy of Fedany; a carpenter; died 12 Nov 1768 aged 60
Robert CREIGHTON . Garvaghy & Dromara son of Robert Creighton; married Mary Jane Wilson 2 Dec 1852 in Garvaghy; father of Ellen b. 31 Dec 1868 & David b. 4 Oct 1870 & Susan b. 10 Nov 1872 (regd. Dromara) CR

I found Susan's son Samuel going to Canada:
30 Mar.1924 "Metagama" arrived St. John New Brunswick from Belfast Northern Ireland, Samuel Nelson, age 18, single, [can't quite read occupation]. born Banbridge, Church of England, going to settle permanently, to uncle W. Creighton 125 Bayswater Avenue Ottawa, mother Mrs Nelson Fedney Garvaghy Banbridge.
The outward passenger record of him leaving the U.K. gives occupation as mechanic and address as 10 Pandora St. Belfast.
Added- found Susan's brother William Creighton in Ottawa if you are interested

Struggling to find any record of Susan Nelson leaving Ireland after 1924 (when son Samuel gave her address as Fedney).
However, I'm wondering if this death would be worth checking?
Susan Nelson, age 86, died 27 Dec.1955 Banbridge district

Just found this thread relating to Arthur Nelson.
I believe that Arthur Nelson from 32 Pandora Street married Maria McAuley, who was an elder sister of my grandfather. The address can be clearly seen on their marriage certificate of 22 June 1911.
To date I have not managed to find any additional info relating to either o them

1912 directory- 34 Pandora St. Arthur Nelson cabinet maker. Also at that address in 1918, 1924, 1932, 1939 directories but not listed there in 1943.

Thanks Aghadowey.
I think your info re Lisburn Cemetery is most probably correct - as I have their birth dates as 1870 and 1873.
Interestingly, in the 1911 Census, Arthur was declared as a boarder in 32 Pandora Street. He married Maria McAuley that same year and they then moved into no 34.
You are obviously an expert at genealogy so could you please answer a question. Why am I unable to find any record of a death certificate, even when entering the dates that you gave me.
Also, you have named sites I have never remotely heard of, but which are superb sources of information. Is there any 'list' available that can give us less experts a wee help?

Have you found Arthur Nelson's birth record?
This may be it.

Thanks Kiltaglassan, I already have that, but I have been unable to find the birth certificate of his wife Maria, who was born in 1873.
At least I have found a copy of their marriage certificate:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1870/03338/2223510.pdf

So he was born in 1869 and not 1870.

Where are you searching? Irish Genealogy only covers N.I. counties up to 1921. For later dates you need to search GRONI's database. Certificates not online but you can view them for a few credits after you open an account (free).

Lots posted in Ireland Resources, Antrim Resources, pinned to top of some boards, etc. (some links outdated but I am not able to make changes and update them anymore)
