:) Hello & Good Evening.
Edited due to Error. ::) I don't know if this is going to be possible because of the dates but if I could ask anyway. I would like to know if someone could help me locate the date of birth for a one Aaron Potiphar The details I have so far include:
Place of birth: Barking, London
Married in 1759 to Elizabeth Cleeve b. 1721 - d. 1772 also from Barking, London
I am also after the date of death for one Sarah Catling b. 1768 - d. ????. Married William Potiphar b. 1759 - d. 1842. I know she is the daughter of Thomas Catling b.1732 - 1784 and Elizabeth Manneke b.1737 - d. ????. Both born in Stepney and were married 1758
I have just come back to this after trying to search some information. I have found that the Manneke line takes me to Pierre Patcie b. 15?? - d. 1595? and his wife Julienne b.15?? - d.1595 also but I will ? that. My ancestors down this line are French!! :o AND Googling a name brought the attention of a Genealogist to me who it turns out Im distantly related to. Talk about finding a needle in a Haystack.

Hi-
Check this website that has some info on the name:
http://www.piers-potiphar.co.uk/page2.html
It appears that one of you has bad info: He says Aaron m'd Eliz. Cleeve 1759 and that son William married Sarah in 1788.

Hello Nick. Many thanks for the reply and pointing out my errors. I have changed them now. I am afraid it is not on that site you you suggested. That is a site I have used frequently in the past but unfortunately what I am looking for also seems to be something which eludes Piers for now. However I did find out a lot from his site including that Piers is a distant cousin.
If and when I can find the information I will also be letting him know too :)

HI
If you dont already have it there is a Will for one Aaron Potipher on the National Archives- it may help fill in a few gaps

Hello James. Yes I am still around. :) I am a direct decendant of a Potiphar although that is not my surname. Its been a while since I looked into my ancestory but quite happy to help where I can, if I can.
Adam.

Hi Adam
Welcome back ;D
Hopefully James will now receive notification that we have both replies and come back soon.
If he doesn't, you could try to send him a personal message as he has enough posts to use the system.
