havent got very much on this chap
Alfred Field marries Sarah Mace q4...1871....shipston....6d....1131
by 1881 Sarah is widower and working as servant in Paddington
But her mum (jane nevill) and dad (james mace 1819) have
Nelly m field 8 granddaughter born canada
ada l field 6 granddaughter born canada
Maud Field 3 granddaughter born Illinois, america
in 1891 Sarah's sister Lucy (married to edward white)
has Ellen M field 19 niece born toronto canada
and Ethel m filed either 18 or 13 niece born illinois
What i need to know is where would Alfred's death have been registered and how do i find the births of the girls.
how would they have got to canada and how would they have got back
Not had to research out of the uk yet and im stumped.

Per IGI at www.familysearch.org
Ada Lucy Field Birth: 14 FEB 1873 York, York, Ontario
Father: Alfred Field Mother: Sarah Mace

You need to first of all to eliminate the possibility that Alfred died in the UK
You don't give any details of his birthyear so you need to check on freebmd between 1877-1881
Have you checked if the family are on the US 1880 census - www.familysearch.org
If they are - it narrows the search even more

cant find any record of his death in england..............but then dont know where he was born or if they came back where they would have been living..............
i checked igi and drew a blank!! :(
cant find them on the census
he is just a mystery start to finish...................... :(

A copy of Alfred & Sarah's marriage cert would give his age, his fathers name and their respective occupations
As they only married in the December qtr of 1871 that should hopefully help you to find him on the 1871/61 census

270 possible thomas wyatts...without knowing details very big needle in haystack
I thought you were looking for Alfred and Sarah Field so where does Thomas Wyatt fit in
-
i am sorry getting confused he is their brother in law married toelizabeth mace 1843
i think this family alone kept the shipston registry office going!

Alfred Field is not on the pre-1916 IL death index, but coverage is definitely incomplete:
http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/deathsrch.html
Many ships went from Liverpool to Quebec, but there were other routes (including via the US). It would have depended on what was cheapest at the time.
http://ao.minisisinc.com/scripts/mwimain.dll/144/HAWKE?DIRECTSEARCH - can't see them here.
The incoming passenger lists are on the Canadian Archives site but not indexed for 1871/2ish, so that might be difficult to track.
I think daughter Ada might have married as Ada Lucie Field in 1897, to Frederick Stephen Gowar (she is on the 1901 census in Penge, Surrey, 27, born Toronto).
I suspect this might be a relevant entry in 1871!
RG10/3212 folio 157 page 2
Wethley, Warwickshire
John Field, 38, farmer of 260 (acres), employing 6 men, 1 boy, 2 women, b Wethley
Maria, wife, 36, farmer's wife, b. Besford Worcestershire
children, all b. Wethley
John, 7
Maria, 6
May, 5
C Henry, 3
George F, 2
James B, 1
Alfred Field, brother, 18, assistant farmer, b. Wethley
Sarah Mace, governess, 26, b. Dodderham Gloucestershire.
In 1861 Alfred is a pupil at a school in Alcester, and John is with younger siblings Edward (21), Ann (20), and Elizabeth H (16) in Weathley/Wethley/Weethley.
I think I can guess why they might have run off to Canada immediately after the marriage! ;D
Re: Thomas Wyatt and Elizabeth Mace - I believe they married in 1874, she died in 1875, and he remarried in 1878. I can give you 1871 census for him (unmarried) and 1881 (with second wife), if you need them. There appears to have been one child to this marriage, Norah Jane (Elizabeth probably died in childbirth or soon afterwards).

thank you so much.............somehow i overlooked the fact of the house she was governess in.............had the answer all the time. :-[
i had a quick look on the census's for the children but drew a blank
i had tied Elizabeth death into that od william James who died 1875 q3..........maybe he was one of a twin if norah jane
will have a look now
