Title: Whinwell Orphanage

Dear Reader

I have been trying to gather information on Whinwell Orphanage, in Stirling which my Mum resided between 1947-1956.

Are you able to help my search, any information would be much appreciated.

have you tried putting "Whinwell Orphanage". into google to see what results there might be?
Alsways a good place to start.

Yes, but no records are come up.  Been to the Stirling Archive too but they have very little information availabe.

Oh, that's a disappointment..

Well, is there a local studies section at the Library in a biggish neary town to where  the Orphange was...? They might have something.

Thanks Charlotte.  I went to the Library Archive here in Stirling but due to data protection etc. the information they were allowed to show me ws very limited.
