Title: Parish Records for St John Lee/Wall

Hi

I am trying to find a record of the marriage of Thomas Stanley Winter (b. ~1814) and Margaret Hill (b. ~1816).  She was born in Wall St John Lee so I am presuming they may have got married there.  The oldest child I can find is born in 1838ish so I presume the marriage will be in the years just before registration in 1837!

Is there anyone who might be able to help me?

A better bet would be that they married in the vicinity where first child was born !

You will find the full marriage record on this site:
http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0

Select 'Europe' from the map.

On the next page select Diocese of Durham Bishops' Transcripts'

Then select Northumberland, and then St John Lee.

Enter '8' in the 'go to' box top right of the page and click 'go'.

The relevant page will then be displayed.

Thank you so much.  I've never used Bishop transcripts before.  A new resource to play with!!
