Title: Meehan Family

Looking for others who maybe researching the Meehan family who stayed in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

They were William Meehan, parents John Meehan and Ellen Burke and  he  was married to Sabina Connelly whose parents were Patrick Connelly and Mary Ann McGuigan.

William and Sabina had at least 3 children who were Patrick Connelly Meehan, Ellen Burke Meehan and Sabina McSherry Meehan

Hi. I know you placed your post a long time ago but my Grandfather married ELLEN MEECHAN in 1948 and her parents were married in St Francis R.C. Church in the Gorbals, Glasgow on 8th April 1895 (Charles Meechen and Agnes Moore).
Agnes Moore's parents hailed from Enniskillen and were married there in 1854.
Let me know if I am on the right track and I will get some birth certs etc to you.
