Hi   I'm searching for relatives of my gt gt grandparents Michael and Eliza Lyons  - I believe they came to England from Cork  - Michael's parents were Bridget and Edward who worked in the paper making industry . Michael had a brother John .  Eliza's father was Thomas Callahan but other than that I don't have much any other info.

Is Lynes an Irish name? My great great grandmother was Hannah Lynes baptised 1827 Kenilworth, so not far from Meriden, but though I know her parents were George and Sarah Lynes I've not been able to trace them further back.
