-
No but there is a Latta Street in Dumbarton.....
-
There are large tombstones in Dumbarton Cemetery to various members of the Latta family.
-
Do you know of the tombstones have been transcribed and put on the internet?
-
Not sure, but can transcribe them for you over the next few weeks if you wish. The Latta family married into the McMullen shipbuilding family if I remember correctly. There is a long connection with Dumbarton.
-
That would be wonderful. If you have the time. I don't have the connection with the McMullens yet. I am doing some research today on ancestery.com on Dumbarton Lattas, so I might have more to go on then.
