Title: Parish Registers around Dover
Post by: Sylviaann on Wednesday 26 January 05 16:55 GMT (UK)
I am looking for the baptism of Emily Jane Beer.  Her birth according to census was between 1825 and 1827.  She says she was born in Dover.  I have checked Dover St Mary and could not find her.  Does anyone have access to Parish registers in the Dover area?

Don't know if this helps, because I don't know where you live, but Dover Library have films and microfiches for all the Dover Parishes. There is at least St James and Charlton in Dover itself, plus St Mary in Castro covering the Castle. I will try to remember to look up for you next time we are there, but it may be some weeks or even months.
