Hi, my family were very impressed with the last restore of my grandparents wedding party I am wondering if it would be possible for you clever people to add a splash of colour to the happy couple.
Thanks so much for the last restore and colour. "Saddles" colour version was fantastic to say the least. I have printed countless copies to share with all my family. My mother could not believe how great the colourised version was.
If I new how to add the extract of my previous post in the body of this text I would, but I don't know how. I am still learning........ but slowly getting there with the help of all the generous people on Roots Chat ! :D ;D :)
The flowers in the bouquet are pink and white dahlia's and pink roses I think. Or maybe, at a second glance the flowers were white dahlia's and orange blossom ??? I'm not really sure now !!! The fine coronet on the veil on the brides head was organge blossom.

Here is a quick clean up for you in black and white.
Will try and find time to colour tomorrow, if anyone else wants to use my restoration - please do ;D

What brilliant restores!
The photograph is fascinating - looks like it has been put together from 2 time periods: the bride looks typical 1920's(?) but the groom seems as though he has come from a modern photo with his hair style etc.

Thanks Jim
Appreciated

Here is my colour version.
Had some trouble with the greenery in the flowers.
Hope it is ok.

Hello Guys and Gals, these restores are just fabulous, what more can I say !!
Thanks for giving up your time to provide such brilliant results.
Margaret (little Meg) the greenery in the flowers is spot on and everything else about the photo as well, the table legs..... I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it....
BusterX, you are quite right, the photo was taken in September 1928, in fact it was the first of Spring when my grandparents were married. Nan does look typical 20's, but my Pa could quite easily have come from a modern photo. Its amazing how fashions and styles repeat themselves !!
;D ;D :D :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Hi, I just love these last two colour enhancements, each one I have received from this posting is so different and I am pleased with each and every one of them.
Hi Carolyn,
What a lovely surprise, I have just returned from taking the dog for a walk around the beach into town and I find another fabulous colour enhancement from you. Thanks again for the time an effort you have put in to this photo, it will complement the other one beautifully. Fantastic work !
Hi vhansen,
What a fantastic enhancement, the change of flower colour gives it a whole different look. Such tedious work and attention to detail, I am very appreciative of your efforts. Such professional work from you both !! I now have so many different versions to choose from, I can hardly wait to share them with my family. ;D :D :-* :-*
Like me, I am sure they will be amazed with the results.
