I have this record 1881 Census

RG11 3596/26

11 Summer Seat Liverpool

William Doyle 36 Head Born St Helens Lab in Chemical Works
Elizabeth Doyle 30 Wife  Born Ireland
Jane Doyle 7 Daur
Michael Doyle 4 Son
Miles Doyle 6 months All children Born Liverpool.

I have copy of Birth for;

Miles Doyle Born 27/09/1880 ( Died age 2 )
11 Summer Seat Liverpool
Father William Doyle Labourer
Mother Eliza DOYLE

Can anyone find record of marriage for this couple.

Was Eliza Born Doyle or was she married before.

I saw that  record and thought it was of interest.

This is record of their marriage Lancashire bmd.

1868 Liverpool St John.

Could she have married twice ?? bit of a mystery.

I suppose a lookup at Record Office would give Williams` fathers` name.

Will see if lookup can be done.

Catherine "    dau    age  22    b.Liverpool
WILLIAM  "     son    age 19     b.St Helens  occ.  Chem Lab
Ann         "      dau    age 15     b.Liverpool
Margaret "      dau    age2        b.St Helens

I have 1841-1901 Census records for Doyle Family.

My "brick wall " now is maiden name of Williams` wife Eliza,

My sister found this record for me today at Record Office.

Marriage 04/08/1868

William Doyle 23 Bachelor Labourer Hornby Street Liverpool
Father LOUGHLIN DOYLE  Labourer

Eliza Donohoe Spinster 21 London Road Liverpool

Father Michael Donohoe Farmer

Witnesses ( surnames hard to read )

John ?? Parsonage  and William ?? Foulkes ??

Obviously a mistake was made on birth certificate of their son Miles Doyle.
