I'm looking for some help. I am trying to find out where my grandmother is buried.
I know she died in march 1954 at her home address in Strathavan, Lanark.
Could anyone tell my which the local churches are and how I would go about finding her grave to pay my respects. I have a picture of the grave from 1954 and it is a stone cross which looks like it is on a hill. Can any one help?

I hope this is what you are looking for. It also seems that Strathaven cemetery is on a hill overlooking the town, so that fits as well.

Hi Fee - I live in Strathaven and would be glad to look in the cemetery for you - unless you have already done so. Post the details of Granny's name.... if I find the grave I will photograph it for you.
