Searching for Mary Jane Lawrence(Laurence) b. circa 1833-34
(three sources indicate Toledo Ohio).
Her parents, according to Ontario Cenus, were both born in Canada(Ontario perhaps.)
Her parents,or at least mother, must have travelled back to Toledo for the birth._
Mary Jane married a Thomas Sparow(b. Ireland) around 1850-52.Their first born Thomas, was born in Halton County,ca.1852.
Childrens names:
Thomas
Rebecca Hannah
Elizabeth Jane
Matilda
John
Both Rebecca and Matilda moved from their parents home by 1891,and appear in the 1891,1901,and 1910 census in Windsor,0ntario.
Any information would be appreciated by:

Hi Lisa,
Yes this my Sparrow family.
Her maiden name Lawrence, was also mentioned on the death certificate of her daughter Rebecca,of Windsor,Ontario.Rebecca, was married three, maybe four times.
Matilda died in Windsor, also, and was single.
It is Toledo Ohio info I am hoping to uncover.Perhaps, she was married there before coming to Canada.
Thanks for getting back to me so promptly.

Louella, tough search ---
1830 & 1840 - name of head of household, number of free white males/females, number of other free persons, names of slave owners and number of slaves, number of foreigners, and town/district/county of residence
1850 has the complete family listing w/ names, bd and bp's but not finding anything interesting in Toledo, Luca Co. Ohio nor an Canadian b. John Lawrence.
You might do a "search" on a recent (within the last couple of weeks) from "Ohio Susan" where she gives a long list of Ohio resources. If I come across it I will post the link.

Found Ohio Susan's post -- was targeted to Cincinnati/Hamilton Co. info BUT many of the sources might also be adjustable for Toledo/Lucas Co. searches. If you have interest I will post the link to the thread for you or maybe Susan will see this thread and have other sources/ideas related to Lucas Co. for you.
