The death records should be on SP. Stillborn babies may be in common ground with no headstone
Some interesting info on this thread

The marriage certificates should be available to view on SP
Here is the 2nd marriage
1925 GILLIES ROBERT married HALDANE MARGARET at KELVIN GLASGOW
-
This may be his 1st marriage
1924 GILLIES ROBERT married COUPER MARGARET at ANDERSTON GLASGOW CITY
and a death record for his 1st wife
1924 GILLIES MARGARET maiden name COUPER aged 26 at POSSILPARK GLASGOW CITY
If you are sure the stillborn baby was a girl then this may be the death record. If you view it on SP it will confirm parents names
1924 GILLIES MARGARET WATSON Female aged 0 at ANDERSTON GLASGOW CITY

Hi. Having had the misfortune to have had a stillborn son I can tell you that as far as I know the records for such babies are not available for the public to see. It was not untill the round about the 1980's that death certificates were issued for these lost babies although their birth/death had to be registered.
It took me 27 years to get a copy of my son's death certificate.

I can't help on the missing babies but Robert Morrow Gillies was my Uncle Bobby. His brother, Charles was my grandfather. I, am a Margaret Watson Gillies. Watson being his mother's maiden name.
I found through Scotlands People that he married a Margaret Couper 31/12/1923. She died 21/02/1924 and the baby, who was also called Margaret Watson Gillies, died at the age of 5 weeks. I thought maybe the mother died in childbirth. Very sad story.
My cousins, who know more about him than I do, told me that Uncle Bobby went on to have 3 wives.
I am new to this, and this is my first post. I do hope I hear from you as you may be able to give me some information. My email address is (*)
